Girls in Pearls is a mentoring and leadership program at Hope Middle School for girls in grades 6–8. The program helps students grow academically, personally, and socially while building confidence, leadership skills, and awareness of future college and career opportunities.
Our program is guided by the PEARLS values:

R – Responsibility
L – Leadership
S – Support
Girls in Pearls typically on the first Tuesday of each month from 3:30–4:45 p.m. Meetings include activities focused on:
-Academic success and goal-setting
-Leadership and character development
-Confidence and communication
-Career and college exploration
-Teamwork and positive relationships
-Community service and giving back
Students may also participate in guest speaker events, college visits, academic activities, field trips, and other enrichment opportunities throughout the year. Girls in Pearls provides a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where students can build friendships, learn new skills, express themselves, and discover their potential. Our goal is to help every girl become a confident, responsible, and successful young leader who is prepared for her future.
