In orchestra, students will learn the proper care and technique of playing a string instrument while enhancing their musicianship. Students will grow as musicians through performing, improvisation, composing, sight-reading, listening and learning about a variety of musical repertoire while expanding their creativity. Working as individuals and as a collaborative team, the orchestra will experience music performances on a variety of platforms. Each student will be offered opportunities and experiences to grow as a musicians and build a collaborative atmosphere as an orchestra.
